AssetRaider privacy policy

AssetRaider is designed so media discovery happens locally inside the user's browser. When the user runs a scan, the extension reads the current page's media-related content so it can find downloadable audio and video assets already available to that user. The extension does not relay page media URLs through AssetRaider servers in v1.

What the extension reads locally

AssetRaider reads media-related website content on the current page, such as direct media links, media elements, and runtime-generated media references. If the user enables Deep scan, the extension can also observe network requests on that page locally to detect additional media candidates. This inspection stays on the user's device unless a separate license verification request is made.

What the extension stores

The extension stores user settings, a locally entered license key, and the last verified premium status in Chrome extension storage.

What the extension sends

The extension only contacts the AssetRaider licensing API when the user verifies a license or when a cached premium status needs renewal. That request includes the license key and extension version.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. AssetRaider does not collect or store raw card details on its own servers.

What AssetRaider does not do

AssetRaider does not bypass DRM, decrypt protected streams, evade paywalls, or attempt to access content the user is not entitled to download.
